pretzel.design is a curated design library. This policy explains what information we receive when you create an account or use the service, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
- Account information supplied by Clerk or your chosen sign-in provider, such as your name, email address, profile image, and account identifiers. We never receive your Google password.
- Items you save to your personal collection and the dates you save them.
- Information submitted with a job listing, including company and role details and a contact email. Payments are processed by Stripe; pretzel.design does not store complete card details.
- Basic operational and anonymous product-usage data produced when you use the service, such as pages viewed, request logs, device or browser information, and security events. IP addresses are anonymized in our analytics project.
How we use it
- Create and secure your account, authenticate sign-ins, and maintain your session.
- Provide saved collections and other features you request.
- Review and administer job submissions, respond to support or safety issues, and prevent abuse.
- Measure page usage and operate, debug, protect, and improve the reliability of the service.
Google data
Google sign-in requests only the standard OpenID, email, and profile scopes. We use that information to create or connect your pretzel.design account and do not use it for advertising. Our use of Google user data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Service providers
We share information only when needed to run the service, comply with law, or protect users. Core providers include Clerk for authentication, PostHog for anonymous page analytics, Neon for database hosting, Vercel for application and media hosting, and Stripe for payments. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy commitments.
We do not sell personal information. Following an outbound link sends you to a third-party site whose privacy practices are outside our control.
Cookies
pretzel.design, Clerk, and PostHog use cookies or similar browser storage to keep you signed in, protect sessions, remember essential account state, and count anonymous page usage. Page URLs are sent without query strings or saved-item identifiers. We do not send account identifiers to PostHog or use account information for targeted advertising.
Retention and control
We keep account and saved-item data while your account is active and retain operational or transaction records only as long as reasonably needed for security, accounting, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. You can remove saved items at any time. Account access and deletion controls are available through the account menu where supported.
Security and transfers
We use access controls, encrypted connections, and reputable infrastructure providers to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Our providers may process data in countries other than your own, subject to their applicable safeguards.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact the operator through the support details shown in the account or consent screen.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above identifies the current version. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to the operator using the support contact displayed during sign-in or in your account controls.
